Bristol power plant decision to be announced
A decision on a biofuel plant in Bristol is due to be announced this week, it has been reported.

The BBC reported that the decision on the controversial plant is currently being considered by local councillors in the city. It has come under fire from many environmentalists who say that the biofuel it will produce will help increase demand for palm oil from the world's rainforests.
As well as this, they claim that the production of more biofuel could lead to rises in global food prices which will impact the poor.
However, those behind the plant W4B told the BBC that they will ensure that all of its fuel is obtained from reputable and sustainable sources.
According to the Jack Bristol website, protestors are planning on visiting council offices this afternoon (February 24th).
Commenting on the biofuel plans, leader of Bristol council Barbara Janke said: "I am very concerned about the impact that the production of the likely fuels such as palm oil and jatropha oil would have on the countries where they are grown."
