Rainforest conference website opens for comments
The Oslo Climate and Forest Conference is now open for comments from the general public, which could give those concerned about rainforest protection the chance to air their views.

The website is will remain open to comments until May 12th and people can also check out a draft partnership document, which can be read in English, Spanish and French.
Comments made by countries and stakeholders have already been taken into account for the document.
The conference is set to kick off on May 27th and will be hosted by the prime minister of Norway Jens Stoltenberg. It will be held at the Holmenkollen Park Hotel.
Rainforest protection will be top of the discussion bill and the overall aim of the meeting is to come up with a strategy to lower deforestation levels, forest degradation and global emissions.
Many nations are currently working on schemes to cut levels of carbon emission output.
