Clover Lake Hicks - Teacher, US

Clover Lake HicksMy name is Clover Lake Hicks and I'm teaching in New York City at a small public Middle School (ages 11-13), The Salk School of Science. I've taught all manner of sciences for 8 years and look forward to my ninth year with the kids where I'll be continuing my inquiry and writing course as well as a position as Dean of Students. cuti_sch_dsc_0057_260

Having the opportunity to travel to Peru with Cool Earth was definitely an invigorating and eye-opening experience. My first hand knowledge of the Amazonian rainforest and its Ashaninka inhabitants will finally lend an air of authenticity to my lessons on Tropical Biomes and Global Climate Change. Please view my teaching resources to see how I'm enhancing my middle school units on Biodiversity and Scientific Methodology.
