Protecting rainforests with Cool Earth Action - Keeping carbon where it belongs

Teacher Fellowship

cuti_classroom_dsc_0054_260The Cool Earth Teacher (CET) Fellowship supports the personal and professional development of outstanding teachers by funding a summer learning experience in the Amazon rainforest to develop curriculum materials in the classroom.

Successful applicants complete a 7 - 10 day program in Peru tailored to their goals and interests as educators and life-long learners. As a result, these educators return to the classroom with a renewed commitment to teaching about the rainforest, it's biodiversity and the culture of local people living amidst this scientifically important ecosystem.  Within their selected cohort, teachers will share their new insights, skills, and resources as Partner Teachers of Cool Earth Action.

The application process will open later in 2010. We apologise for not being able to release a specific date at this point but please do email us at teacherfellowship@coolearth.org to lodge your initial interest and we will notify you when the application process opens.
