Cool Earth is already saving thousands of acres of pristine rainforest. We have projects across South America which we place in the hands of local communities to make saving these trees a way of life and not just a quick fix. Cool Earth re-educates illegal loggers and has managed through our programmes to give them sustainable jobs - protecting the jungle as foresters rather than hacking it down. As well as keeping carbon where it belongs through our conservation programmes we have also managed to safeguard a home and habitat for many local communities, plants and animals.
