Making Cool Earth your charity of the year creates a fun challenge for your staff, brings them together as a team and helping to develop useful skills through fundraising activities. Cool Earth money raising events boost morale, raise a company's ethical and green profile as well as lead to staff satisfaction. We can set up a special corporate staff account and plot your rainforest saving achievements via Google Maps.

Plus you can choose to save acres or support rainforest communities directly by choosing from our Community Gifts.

Here are a few fundraising ideas to get you started.

Sport events

Your staff could make a donation and take part in company sports challenges like a tennis tournament, five a side football or a golfing competition. You could even have a Wii sports tournament.

Or you could put together your own company running team and take part in a half marathon or even the London marathon and gain sponsorship and recognition for your team efforts.

Compete to Win an Acre

Why not give your colleagues the chance to protect an acre or half an acre of rainforest in their name, by participating in fundraising competitions.

You could have a baby photo competition. Guess who your colleagues are and get to know each other that little bit better.

Or you could run a monthly staff lottery. Everyone puts in £1 and the lucky winner is drawn at random. Why not bring the team together on a Friday afternoon and draw the winner before heading off for drinks.

All you need to do is send us the money raised from your competition and the details of the winner and we'll send them a certificate which they can put up in their office. We will even map their plot on Google Maps for them.

Office Fun

Been giving the task of birthday buying? You could protect an acre of rainforest for your colleague's birthday or you could get them a unique gift to help one of our community projects. Click here for a list of our community gifts.

Have an Ashaninka dress down day. People can pay for the privilege of going casual and your office could protect Ashaninka rainforest and help their community.

Fancy yourself as a bit of a cook? Bake up a storm (or pop down to the local supermarket), get your colleagues to join in and have yourself a much deserved tea and cake afternoon.

You could also donate proceeds from your Christmas party or have a Cool Earth secret Santa and buy a gift for your colleague which will help our community projects. Click here for a list of community gifts.

Whatever you decide to do, we can help you organise your calendar of fundraising events and we'll promote all your staff efforts on our website and our regular web magazine.

We would be delighted to talk to your staff about the important work we do and how their team efforts will make a difference to climate change. In fact, if your staff members raise over £1,000 we'll come in and do an Ashaninka show and tell, giving your staff the opportunity to see and learn about rare artefacts from the tribe.
