Cool Earth Action - Keeping carbon where it belongs

Fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood launches new collection to protect rainforest with Cool Earth.

Cool Earth supporter, Vivienne Westwood has designed 20 limited edition tablecloths with all the proceeds going to Cool Earth. The tablecloths are for sale for £1,000 pounds each and can be bought on her website. All the proceeds raised will go to Cool Earth with the sale of each design enabling nearly 17 acres of rainforest to be protected. Dame Vivienne Westwood who has pledged to raise a staggering £100,000 for Cool Earth, states on her site that the charity's work is very close to her heart. Earlier this year our director Matthew Owen was interviewed by the designer for her new pilot show, "Get a Life" and then the cameras were turned on Ms. Westwood who told us why she feels so passionately about rainforest protection.
