Red Sky
We've teamed up with Red Sky to save thousands of acres of endangered rainforest in the Awacachi corridor in Ecuador. This is a key strategic site that along with adjoining areas reinforces the conservation of over 141,378,669 square feet of unique rainforest. Working with local partners, Cool Earth and Red Sky are helping to secure this corridor of land by investing in round the clock protection and in local community development that values forest conservation above forest destruction.

Every acre of rainforest saved locks up over 260 tonnes of carbon that would be released into the atmosphere otherwise, along with the benefits of continuing to protect and preserve hundreds of species of plants and animals. Your purchase of Red Sky is really making a difference so please keep it up!
To date, the sales of Red Sky have protected over 141 million sq ft of rainforest. That's a massive 3,334 acres of endangered forest in Ecuador, which works out to be an area of land over four times the size of the entire 2012 Olympic site! Plus, the carbon this has locked up is the equivalent to nearly 347 thousand flights from London to Sydney! As well as protecting the land, investment in local communities has allowed them, among other things, to own their own solar powered fridges to store anti-venom to protect against snake bites. It's a fantastic start in helping to secure this precious corridor of land.
We will continue to update you on how the purchase of Red Sky is helping to protect the forest, and how the land that you are protecting is growing.
