The bark from the Cedar tree is used In herbal medicine to treat malaria, fever and rheumatism. The leaves, twigs and bark of the Cedar also give off a garlic-like odour from the cut surface. Like the Mahogany tree it’s used to make furniture. It’s also on the IUCN red list of threatened species.
