Our top reasons why trees make the world go round.
It’s not that we don’t think giant teddy bears are great, but this Valentine’s Day we’re sure you would rather know that there are real-life spectacled bears running around our partnership rainforest, with their habitat protected for good.
Rainforests are the lungs of the world, generating 20% of the world’s oxygen. But they’re also at the world’s heart. They provide shelter, food, and medicine for millions of people. They provide an income from forest produce grown under the shade of their branches. And of course, they are home to those wonderful spectacled bears, as well as millions of other species.
By no means a complete list, we’ve gathered together some of the reasons why you should show trees some love this Valentine’s Day.
