So what is the Rickshaw Run? It's basically a 14-day road trip from the bottom of India to the top in a 3-wheeled Tuk Tuk (or tiny three wheel vehicle with a 7 horsepower engine). Think dangerous roads, wrong turns, mechanical and likely mental breakdowns, Indian food galore and possible Delhi belly (okay likely)...all while raising money for a charity saving rainforests throughout the world. So who's doing this crazy thing?

In order to participate in the Rickshaw Run, we first have to raise at least 1,000 £ (that would be British pounds) for charity. We've decided to stick with the Run's official charity of Cool Earth. More info is below.
Cool Earth is an environmental charity that works in partnership with the indigenous communities. The charity only protects rain forest that without intervention will be destroyed within the next 18 months.
Cool Earth works strategically, protecting forest that acts as a barrier to a wider landscape. The charity spends just over 10% of your donation on admin and governance making sure as much as possible goes to project areas.
Through working with local people, Cool Earth makes sure conservation goes hand and hand with better livelihoods.
