Two friends and I are to partake in a 10,000km road trip through Europe, the Middle East and Asia eventually finishing in Ulan Ude, Russia (just north of the Mongolian border). This is part of a large, international charity event known as the Mongol rally. We’re raising money for a charity known as Cool Earth, which puts indigenous people back in control of their local rainforests. This way the forest is protected and the people act as custodians preventing deforestation and helping to decrease poverty within the local villages.
Empowering the Asháninka to shield millions of acres of Amazon rainforest.
