Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! In September I will driving over 1000 km in 7 days through the Himalayas in a rickshaw. I will be accompanied by two friends, Jemima and Emma, and during this perilous journey, we will be known as the ‘Spice Girls’! I completed a rickshaw rally three years ago with Tim and Adam, driving 3000 km across India, which I vowed would never do again! Pushing a glorified lawnmower over the Himalayas however has lured me back again to compete another rally, this time through mountain passes up to 17, 000 ft in height and difficult terrain! The rally starts in Shimla in Himachal Pradesh and ends in Leh, Kashmir. I am completing the rally as it has been a dream of mine to explore the Himalayas, though not by a 3 wheeled lawn mower equivalent, albeit, it still counts as exploring! The rally aims to raise money for CoolEarth, which is a non-profit organization that works alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation in the Amazon. All money raised goes towards the charity. I hope to see you get on board and support this great cause.
Empowering the Asháninka to shield millions of acres of Amazon rainforest.
