Welcome to Roxy’s Rickshaw Roadie Cool Earth Fundraising Page. Once again I’m packing my bags and heading off on yet another one of my adventures. Although this one is a little different than my past trips. I’ll be racing a rickshaw across the length of India. Not only for fun and to tick it off my bucket list but for a great cause, an amazing charity.

Most of you won't know what this event is, so let me tell you. In a nut shell, Theo, Max and myself are attempting to conquer the length of India, from the jungles of the south to the deserts of the north, in what can only be described as a cake tin on wheels, aka The Humble Rickshaw! Its only a mediocre 3000km...

This endeavour will be undoubtably uncomfortable. It's not very fast (7hp in fact), it'll smell, it'll fall over when you go round corners and it'll definitely break down more often than an emo teenager...plus a day's driving will feel like you've been kicked up the arse by an elephant.

As light hearted as the above is, it's important to reiterate that this is a charity fundraising event run by Cool Earth.

The money raised will benefit the tropical and non tropical rainforests of our planet for generations to come, allowing both nature, the people that depend on this environment, and the rest of the world, to live in a more sustainable way, away from land degradation and commercial logging that in turn has more of a negative effect than a lot of us realise.

As half of the world's rainforests have already been destroyed it's about time we step in.

Please will you help?

Any contribution, large or small will go a long way in the battle to preserve our Tropical Forests.

Thank You!

“Helping Cool Earth to halt tropical deforestation makes a real difference. Perhaps the biggest difference we will make in our whole lives.”

– Sir David Attenborough
