This summer, Pierre, Erik, and Henry will be embarking on the Mongol Rally, a 10,000 Mile trek across Europe and Central Asia. https://www.theadventurists.com/mongol-rally/
In the name of friendship, adventure, and fraternal tomfoolery, Pierre Compere, Erik Staniforth, and Henry McKenzie will be embarking on the Mongol Rally this upcoming summer.
First, a bit about the fundraisers. The three of us met in the Fall of 2013 at McGill University. Pierre had the unfortunate luck of receiving Henry as his roommate in first year, while Erik moved in across the hall. In the years since, we have maintained strong friendships while embarking on distinct paths. At some point along the road, we discussed the possibility of doing the Mongol Rally, and finally feel this summer would be an appropriate time!
The rally, a 10,000 mile journey, entails a few critical rules:
1. You can only take a farcically small vehicle of 1 litre or less.
2. You’re completely on your own.
3. You've got to raise £1000 for charity.
Over the upcoming months we will be working hard on the first two stipulations, however, we are asking for some help on the third. As such, the three of us are calling for assistance in raising funds for the Rally's partner organization: CoolEarth, an organization dedicated to fighting deforestation worldwide.
We would be truly grateful for any contribution towards this cause, and wish everyone a relaxing holiday season. Thank you!
