Minuscule compared to last year's escapade and much closer to home, this June I'll be competing in the UK edition Icarus X. It's a 240 mile cross country paramotor race, which among other things, aims to raise shed loads of cash for the charity Cool Earth. The irony of raising money for a climate change charity while racing a filthy two stroke motor is not lost on me, however the work Cool Earth do is close to my heart and by supporting them I can feel ever so slightly less guilty about the fuel burnt purely for pleasure. I'm aiming to raise £1 for each mile covered, but secretly hoping to smash that. If you can spare a few quid, please donate to a great cause.
