In October 2019 I will be going on a foolhardy adventure with my bazaar brother, Brian Henke. We two of many reckless fools racing across Morocco on Monkey Bikes, tiny 48cc lawnmowers on wheels. At the moment all we know is the start line is near Marrakech, the finish line is somewhere on the coast, and to get there we will cross the desert and somehow cross the Atlas mountains. In short, it is a mad journey on a subpar mode of transport and we wouldn't have it any other way. Assuming we don't break down in the desert, crash, or get lost looking for fossils (yes I'm talking about you Brian), the whole adventure should take 7 days. Mechanical, mental and emotions breakdowns are expected. Why am I doing this again...? We am hoping to raise $2,000 for Cool Earth, the extraordinary rainforest preservation charity. Cool Earth work to protect endangered rainforests around the world, campaign to combat global warming and help to provide employment for local people. They do incredible work and I would really love to reach or surpass this ambitious total. Please donate generously as it will really help when we're sunburnt, miserable and lost in the desert, to know that this has all been for a good cause.
