Hello! I'm Evan, a 20 year old geography student at Loughborough University and next summer I will be embarking on the journey of a lifetime! Across two months myself and three friends will be travelling over 14,000 miles to Mongolia... in a crap car (less than 1.2 litres and most definitely past its best). It promises to be a monumental challenge as well as a thrilling adventure and we're all very exciting to get started. As well as enjoying the privilege of travelling to the other side of the world, I am also excited to be fundraising for Cool Earth, the official charity of the Mongol Rally. Cool Earth works alongside indigenous villages to halt rainforest destruction and protect some of the most vulnerable people from deforestation, and in turn creating strong, self-determining communities. They are also the only charity that works solely on the frontline of deforestation. Amazingly, 90% of all donations will go directly to the rainforest and their indigenous partners. If you're still not convinced or want to find out more, their website is here: https://www.coolearth.org/?gclid=CjwKCAjwiOv7BRBREiwAXHbv3Hl5fj8ovlQfMhgL7xLFsaXgqCo-kqX221YOK8dyR8mFCe1BRFuFHxoCEbMQAvD_BwE. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by myself and the rest of the team! Thanks, Evan.
