In August 2016, Joe Barnes, Adam Hanney, and Callum Flett will have under 3 weeks to travel over 2000 miles on some of the most dangerous roads in the world from Shillong to Cochin, traversing the length of India in a tuk-tuk. This trip is to raise both awareness and money to prevent rainforest destruction, with the charity working with indigenous tribes whilst providing them with the resources they need to keep their forest intact. Throughout the build up to our trip, we will be taking part in various fundraising events to try and reach our goal of £1000. To keep you up to date, we will be videoing and posting our fundraising events and adventure for all to see. Please donate and don't hesitate to ask us anything!
This trip is no easy undertaking. The journey will be tough, Hanney is more than likely to die, due to the fact that he believes he will be able to source and eat nothing but Weetabix for nearly a month. This campaign is to raise awareness for necessary prevention of deforestation, but also to raise awareness of our colleague that we are travelling with. Please, save the rainforest/Hanney.
