Rory & Jeremy will be riding beaten up motorbikes from the UK to Mongolia as part of the Mongol Rally in July & raising money for Cool Earth.
The rally is a 10,000 mile challenge through 17 countries and mixes remote deserts, open roads, high altitude mountain ranges and terrain which will rattle us to insanity. We'll be joined by close friends, Katlyn, Reuben & Pete who've opted for the slightly more sensible option of a car, but it's a Toyota Yaris.
Cool Earth works alongside indigenous villages putting local people back in control with the resources they need to keep their rainforest intact. Half of the world’s rainforest has been destroyed in the last 40 years and they continue to be lost at a faster rate than ever. Their mission is to end the cycle of deforestation entrenching villages into further poverty, creating strong, self-determining communities.
The rally is a challenge which we've been planning for months and are confident we'll make it to Mongolia. It'll be our toughest challenge to date along roads and tracks that aren't suitable for the best equipped vehicles, let alone a few knackered motorbikes.
100% of your donation will go to the charity as we are self-funding the journey to Mongolia so please dig deep and help the very worthy cause.
Thanks very much,
Rory & Jeremy
