Notes: Matoa is a large tropical hardwood which grows into a tall canopy tree throughout south east asia. They have pinnate leaves and green, yellow or dark red fruits about the size of your thumb, which taste a bit like a lychee and are a popular fruit for eating in Papua New Guinea.
