Our fundraisers are a creative bunch when it comes to taking on challenges, from beard shaves and bake sales to stand-up comedy and streaming marathons. There is something for everyone.

Facebook Fundraisers
Set up a birthday fundraiser or use this option for an event in 5 simple steps.
Step 1
Head over to your Facebook profile. You’ll need to be logged into your account for this one.
Step 2.
Select ‘Fundraisers’. This can be found in your menu bar.
Step 3
Choose Cool Earth. Simply search for Cool Earth and select us as your charity.
Step 4
Edit your details and set your target. Tell everyone about your fundraiser and why you’ve chosen Cool Earth.
Step 5
Click create and off you go. You’re all set up. So now is the time to tell everybody!

Here’s how some of our Rainforest Champions have been fundraising for Cool Earth.
Running the London Marathon
Ebony watched her cousins run the London Marathon in 2023 and was inspired to give it a crack herself in 2024. She choose to fundraise for Cool Earth to “help people, wildlife, habitats, the environment, the survival of planet Earth as we know it.”
Bike Packing for climate
Julian hopped on his bike and peddled approximately 2,000 kilometres on his bike-packing adventure cycling from Oostende, Belgium to Belfast, Northern Ireland “I’m doing the trip for myself but I also want to give something back and thought about a fundraising challenge.”
Harry’s half marathon
Harry laced up his running shoes and ran the Weston-super-mare half marathon for rainforest. He chose to run for Cool Earth as he believes “everyone has a role to play is protecting our planet, no matter how small. I also know that every penny I raise will be put to good use.”
Cards that give back
Phoebe creates and sells beautiful Christmas cards through her website and donates 20% of her profits to Cool Earth. Phoebe says there’s no time like the present especially when it comes to saving the rainforest and helping to reverse climate change before it’s too late.
Running for rainforest
Do you think you could run a marathon every month? Sibling duo, Seren and Rowan are doing just that, and fundraising for Cool Earth and British Divers Marine Life Rescue. They are taking on 26.2 miles between them every month in 2021 and have raised over £300.⠀
Cycling for the climate action
Connor completed an impressive 150km bike ride around Richmond park during lockdown and raised £1,000. He chose to fundraise for Cool Earth to take effective climate action – backing people to protect rainforest and fight the climate crisis.
Marathon miles for the planet
As well as making environmentally conscious decisions such as eating a plant based diet and going plastic free at home, Dave laced up his running shoes and took on 26.2 miles, to make a difference.
Jess’s Yoga Marathon
Wanting to help protect the planet and fundraise for a charity that helped to prevent climate change, Jess taught back to back yoga classes online and smashed her £750 target in just two days. A top tip from Jess, ‘be bold, as you are doing this for a good cause. Remember, life is short so make a difference!’
