Cool Earth and Eastpak: The eco-conscious Vivienne Westwood Collection

Iconic British fashion house Vivienne Westwood and renowned backpack brand Eastpak have joined forces to create a collection that not only embraces style but also promotes a vital cause – Cool Earth and our mission to back people, protect the rainforest and fight the climate crisis.

Honouring Dame Vivienne Westwood’s activist spirit in her commitment to fight the climate crisis, a small percentage from each sale of the iconic ‘Planets’ collection will be donated to Cool Earth.

Protecting our Planet 

The collection prominently features the custom ‘Planets’ print, which made its debut in the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring-Summer 2019 runway collection. This cosmic collection isn’t just aesthetically pleasing though; it carries a powerful message.

Vivienne Westwood had long been an activist for environmental causes, and the planet print is a visual reminder of her commitment to addressing the pressing issue of protecting our planet. This collection symbolizes the urgent need for significant change in the way we treat Earth.

In commitment to this message, each style from the line has been produced sustainably from recycled and durable materials and synthetic leather.

Vivenne Westwood: Environmental Campaigner Extraordinaire

Following a visit from Vivienne to an Asháninka community project in Peru back in 2013, Vivienne went on to dedicate two fashion shows to Cool Earth, lobbied the Peruvian government, designed t-shirts, collaborated with Burberry on an exclusive fundraising collection, and donated over £1.5 million to our cause. She remained a committed supporter of Cool Earth up until her passing in December 2022.
