We’re thrilled to share that Cool Earth has joined the NGO Forest Coalition UK, a network of charities and organisations working to protect forests, fight climate change, and defend human rights.

Why Joining The NGO Forest Coalition Matters

This is not your usual coalition. It’s a group of people who understand that the best way to protect forests is to back the people living in them. We’re proud to be standing alongside inspiring charities and organisations driving real change for forests and the communities that defend them.

Supporting Indigenous and Local Communities

For 17 years, Cool Earth has partnered directly with Indigenous and local communities in the Amazon, Congo Basin, and Papua New Guinea. We trust these communities to protect their rainforest and provide them with what they actually need, unconditional cash, sustainable livelihoods, and the support to make long-term decisions for their forest.

Joining the NGO Forest Coalition UK means we can amplify these voices in UK policy discussions, push for climate finance to reach the people protecting the rainforest, and challenge governments and companies that claim to be “green” while leaving forests at risk.

Being part of this coalition also means collaborating with organisations that share our people-first approach. Together, we will campaign for policies that work, challenge broken systems, and prove that community-led solutions are the most effective way to fight the climate crisis.
