From sharing campaigns with millions of people across their channels to holding fundraising events, our ambassadors speak out on important issues and help us gain new support across the globe for people-first rainforest protection.

Aleesha Gadhia

Ambassador

Aleesha Gadhia

At just six years old, Aleesha took climate action by scooting 50 miles (80km) across Nottingham on her trusty scooter during her school holidays to raise money for Cool Earth.

As well as her fundraising efforts, Aleesha is quickly carving out a career as an environmental lobbyist; writing to the prime minister, the Queen, her local MP and hundreds of businesses to ask them, in her own words:

Now at the grand age of seven, she has recently received the Prime Minister’s Point of Light award, which recognises people who are making a change in their community. Aleesha was awarded for raising awareness of deforestation and climate change and lobbying businesses to create more sustainable practices.
