This information is used as a record of your donation and to enable us to provide receipts and certificates of your donations. Finally, we may also append generalised information from other sources; this information will not be specific to you. Analysing your information as just described is called “segmentation” or “profiling” and it helps us to provide people with the most relevant information in order to identify additional opportunities for them to get involved. We may also use the information provided in aggregate (so that no individuals are identified) for marketing and strategic purposes.
Your email address is used so the payment processor can send you your receipt.
If you have provided your consent, your contact details are also used to provide you with updates on our projects and fundraising activities.
We may also use your email address to link your record on our database with information on your use of Cool Earth’s website and demographic information gathered by Google Analytics.

Looks to us like you're not in the UK, which means you can't pay by direct debit. If you have a UK bank account and wish to do so, click here to enable.
If you're a UK taxpayer the government will add 25% to your donation - at no cost to you.
By ticking the box you confirm the following: I want to Gift Aid my donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to Cool Earth Action. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.
Please notify the charity if you want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
