Urgent Appeal: Stop loggers
This December, double your donation to keep loggers out of five communities in the Papua New Guinea rainforest.
Double your impact and stop loggers this December.
Right now, the rainforests of Papua New Guinea are under threat.
Logging companies have been moving from village to village, offering cash for land and putting huge pressure on the people living there to sell their forests.
But here’s the problem: when you’re facing poverty and the growing effects of climate change, turning down immediate cash you need to survive isn’t a real choice.
Five villages have reached out to us for support, determined to say no to loggers and keep their rainforest standing. And with your help this December, we can back them up.

All Donations Doubled this December
Our goal: raise £200,000 to support these five new communities. And every one-time donation you give in December will be matched pound for pound by a generous friend of Cool Earth.
That’s one donation. Twice the impact.
Hundreds of thousands of hectares of Papua New Guinea rainforest is at stake. We’re talking 39 million trees at risk of being wiped out.
But your donation keeps loggers out. For good.
Together, we can give these communities the support they’re calling for to protect their land and their future.
