Current Vacancy: Forest Impacts Coordinator

Cool Earth is looking for a GIS specialist to support its programmes in Peru, including an exciting new project to help remove barriers to this data for indigenous people and local communities.

Reporting to the Forest Impacts Manager in the UK, you will be responsible for the coordination of the Rainforest Labs project in Peru, which provides people with the data, evidence, and technology they need in their fight to secure their livelihoods and the forest they call home. You will also support the Forest Impacts Manager in providing forest data analytical support to other Cool Earth programmes in Peru.

This role requires someone who is collaborative, empathetic and calm while being able to work with conviction and passion. You will have a balanced, systematic and analytical mind able to keep sight of the bigger picture.

This is an exciting time to join a growing and dynamic Cool Earth team as we look for ways to scale up our ambitions to deliver the best methods for supporting indigenous peoples and local communities in the three largest expanses of tropical rainforest.
