USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We process personal information for the purposes of fundraising and sending you communications that may be of interest to you (either electronically or otherwise) if you have not told us that you do not wish to receive communications from us. We want to send the most effective messages that we can in the most efficient way possible, so in order to work out who to contact, what to say and when to get in touch, we analyse information such as postcodes of donors, age of supporters and whether donations have been given regularly. This is called “segmentation” and it helps us to provide people with the most relevant information in order to identify additional opportunities for them to get involved. We may also use the information provided in aggregate (so that no individuals are identified) for marketing and strategic purposes.
If you have chosen to receive emails from us, you will receive regular updates about our campaigns. If you have chosen to get involved in a local group, you will get communications from that group about events taking place in your area. If you have made a donation, we will also send you information about our campaigns in the post.
If we send you unsolicited emails, the email will explain to you how to opt-out of receiving other emails from us. Any email that is sent to you, because we received your details from a third party, will clearly state this in the email.
You may opt out of receiving messages by sending an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
